You will be in the mountains, so they are windy at times, but are all paved.

What do I need to bring with me?
Groceries & pool towels (during the summer)
How far is the nearest grocery store?
About 30 minutes (only 15 miles) to burnsville, spruce or marion. You will want to bring groceries with you to begin with so you don't have to drive back into town.
Is parking close to the cottage?
Yes, there is a nice parking lot
Is there a grill?
Yes, a gas grill is on the deck
How close is the nearest hospital?
Approximately 45 minutes to either Spruce Pine or Marion
How close is the nearest fire department/EMT?
Two miles.
Do we bring our own linens?
No, all sheets, blankets, pillows and towel sets are provided.
Are there restuarants close?
Yes, just down the hill on Highway 80: Hawtrees at the golf course & J & J's next to the golf course.
Is there a washer and dryer?
Yes, there is one located in the cottage.
